When is the best time for a honeymoon in Puerto Escondido?
November through April, when rain is rare and the sunsets come unobstructed. November, February and early December offer the finest balance of weather and calm.
If you would like the town almost to yourselves, September and October are very quiet. Afternoon rain, deep-green hills, and evenings best spent in your suite.

Where to have a romantic dinner in Puerto Escondido
Almoraduz, in Rinconada, serves contemporary Oaxacan cooking with a tasting menu and is selected by the Michelin Guide. Save it for the evening that matters most.
Atarraya, in Brisas de Zicatela and also in the Michelin Guide, is a courtyard beneath a great old tree, with fine cocktails and plates made for sharing. It is a short walk from Casa Leah.
For dinner with a view of the sun going down, Espadín sits on the cliff above Carrizalillo.

Suites at Casa Leah for couples
Every suite has a kitchen, a living room, air conditioning, a rain shower, a hammock and daily housekeeping. Two of them, though, feel as if they were imagined for two people.
Plunge Pool Suite: your own pool above the sea
The Plunge Pool Suite: 105 m² with a private pool and a full ocean view. The bedroom, with a king bed, is upstairs, and there are two bathrooms.
It is the only suite in the house with a pool of its own. A swim when you wake, another as the light turns gold, and no one else in sight.
The Grand Penthouse: the very top of the house
205 m² with a private terrace at the highest point of the property and a full ocean view. There are two bedrooms (king and queen) and two bathrooms, so space is never a question.
The terrace is made for sunset with something cold in hand, or for stargazing where no one will think to look for you.
For a simpler stay
The Balcony Suite (65 m²) sits on the upper floors, with a balcony, a hammock and a partial ocean view. For a short escape it is just right: 47 steps and you are on the sand.

No. We welcome couples, families and friends. Even so, the house is calm: there are only fifteen suites, and quiet hours run from 11 pm to 8 am.
Does Casa Leah host weddings?
We do not host weddings. We are, however, a lovely place for the honeymoon or an anniversary, and we are happy to help with dinners, massages and transfers.
